In the context of the democratization of vibe coding , a concept only a few in tech knew about just a few months ago…I’m seeing Microsoft take a major step forward with the introduction of Generative Model-Driven App Pages.

At the moment, I haven’t been able to test it in my demo environment (US region), but I’m genuinely looking forward to having the feature provisioned soon.

Well, I’m still reflecting on the recent story of the Replit agent that accidentally wiped out a production database during a code freeze, because, apparently, it “made a catastrophic error in judgment.” Probably a bit too much hallucination, right? So, I’m both excited and slightly nervous. The day might come when vibe coding, or as I call it, the “new kind of passive mindful stateless activity” will vanish altogether, replaced entirely by Generative Development with zero human intervention. And when that happens, I am afraid we’ll see even greater autonomous exploits we will reflect on.
