As part of the Microsoft Global Hackathon 2024, I developed the Carbon Footprint Calculator, an innovative tool designed to support sustainable business practices. Built using Microsoft’s Power Platform, this solution combines the power of PowerApps Canvas App with the intelligent capabilities of AI Builder GPT Prompts to offer an intuitive, low-code approach to estimating carbon emissions.

The Carbon Footprint Calculator allows users to input key travel details—such as distance, fuel type, and consumption—and automatically calculates the CO2 emissions for various transportation modes. By providing accurate insights into the environmental impact of business and employee travel, the tool aims to raise awareness about sustainability. It encourages users to make more eco-friendly decisions, ultimately contributing to a greener future.
